Tricoter les côtes anglaises sur un nombre de mailles pair
Rang 1
Tricotez toutes les mailles à l'endroit
Rang 2
- Tricotez la première maille à l'envers (1-2-3)
- Passez le fil derrière l'ouvrage (4)
- Tricotez la deuxième maille double endroit : Piquez l'aiguille droite dans la maille se trouvant sur la première maille de l'aiguille gauche (donc celle du rang précédant), de droite à gauche, de l'avant vers l'arrière (5-6).
- Tricotez cette maille comme une maille endroit : enroulez le fil autour de l'aiguille droite dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre, en passant sous puis sur l'aiguille droite (7)
- Ressortez l'aiguille et le fil à travers la maille (8)
- Faites glisser la maille de l'aiguille gauche comme pour une maille endroit classique (9), elle se démaille sur un rang.
- Tricoter la maille suivante à l'endroit (10)
- Continuez à alterner une maille double endroit suivie d'une maille endroit sur tout le rang, puis tricoter la dernière maille à l'envers (11-12)
Rang 3
- Tricotez la première maille à l'endroit (13 -14)
- Tricotez la maille suivante double endroit (15)
- Continuez à alterner une maille endroit suivie d'une maille double endroit (16) et terminer par 2 mailles endroit.
Répétez toujours les rangs 2 & 3
How to knit the fisherman's stitch on an even nomber of stitches
Row 1
Knit all stitches
Row 2
- Purl the first stitch purlwise (1-2-3)
- Pass the yarn in the back of the knitting (4)
- Knit a brioche stitch : Insert the tip of the right needle in the center of the stitch below the first stitch of the left needle from left to right, front to back (5-6) Then knit that stitch like a normal knit stitch : wrap the yarn around the tip of the right needle, counterclockwise (7) Pull the tip of the right needle through the first stitch on the left needle, towards you, with the wrap yarn on it (8)
- Carefully slip the left needle out of the first stitch (9)
- Knit the next stitch (10)
- Keep on knitting a brioche stitch followed by a knit stitch till you only have one stitch left, and purl that last stitch (11-12)
Row 3
- knit the first stitch (13 -14)
- Knit a brioche stitch (15)
- Keep on knitting a knit stitch followed by a brioche (16) stitch till you only have one stitch left, and knit that last stitch
Always repeat rows 2 & 3
